Life’s still a beach for sales trainee Sarah

From the majestic shoreline of Dubai to the north Somerset coast, Brighton-born Sarah Venables has always been drawn to work at beaches.

Now she’s landed a job at her latest beach - Suzuki motor dealer Pebley Beach in Cirencester.

Sarah (23) spent six years travelling the world, teaching holidaymakers how to kayak, canoe, or stay upright on a paddle board. And at Cotswold Lake she gained her powerboat licence.

Now she’s embarked on a new career - selling cars for Cirencester’s Suzuki franchise.

“I thought it was time to settle down and find a job that offered career progression,” said Sarah.

“I was very picky when I was selecting jobs for which to apply. Then I saw an advertisement for a trainee sales executive at Pebley Beach, and it felt like the job description had been written for me.”

Having completed a training programme with Suzuki, which gathered trainees from all over the UK together at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park - “literally over the road from the lake where I was a water sports instructor” - Sarah is ready to sell some cars.

And with her connection to the water firmly established, colleagues are betting her first sale will be a Suzuki Splash.
