Award-winning service team gets even better as Lloyd gains Master status
The award-winning aftersales team at Swindon motor dealer Pebley Beach just got even better, with a second employee gaining the coveted title of Master Service Advisor.
Lloyd Pickup joins colleague Kathryn Harris in holding the title – the highest qualification awarded in the field – making Pebley Beach one of just a handful of Hyundai dealerships in the UK to employ more than one master service advisor.
The award followed a gruelling examination process, during which Lloyd had to answer questions to demonstrate his in-depth knowledge of the aftersales process, and take part in an role-playing scenario so that examiners could assess his ability to effectively deal with customers.
“It was tough,” said Lloyd, who has been with Pebley Beach for six years, “but worth it to be recognised as a master service advisor.”
Managing director Dominic Threlfall said he was delighted that Lloyd had qualified for the title.
“Buying a car at Pebley Beach is just the beginning of the customer’s relationship with Pebley Beach,” he said.

In 2014, Lloyd was was named one of Hyundai’s top brand ambassadors. And last year, Pebley Beach was named Aftersales Dealer of the Year by Hyundai UK.
